FRAME

Visionkr glasses have frames that has a style common for eyeglasses. This frame is rectangular-rimmed. The height of the rims is 34 mm (1.34 in). The width of the frame from temple to temple is 136 mm (5.35 in). At the middle, there is a nose bridge with a width of 15 mm (0.59 in).

The nose bridge is lined with two nose pads extending from the rims. Meanwhile, the temples are accented by elliptical metal strips.

Each temple is connected to an arm via spring hinges. Those springs are protected by a plastic extension from the arms.

Each arm is flat and wide extending to a length of 135 mm (5.31 in). The bottom part of each arm cusps downward at approximately one inch from the joint. The arms curve downward towards the ends. The interior of the right arm is printed with the brand’s name while the left features a print of the CE symbol and the manufacturer’s country of origin.

The frame of Visionkr glasses are made of plastic. The available colors for the frames are black, black-brown, black-red, black-yellow, and demi.

LENSES

The lenses also being rectangular, fit the rims defined by the frame. It has a height of 29 mm (1.14 in) and a width of 50 mm (1.97 in).

They are also made of plastic. The lenses are slightly amber in color. This blocks over 30% of blue light rays.

Other features of the lenses include anti-glare, anti-scratch, anti-reflective, anti-scree flicker, anti-fog, fingerprint-resistant, electromagnetic ray-resistant, and ultraviolet (UV)-resistant.

MAGNIFICATION

The available magnification grades for Visonkr glasses by Eyekepper are 0.0x, 0.75x, 1.25x, 2.25x, 2.5x, 2.75x, and 3.0x.

Glasses with a demi frame is available for all magnification grades except 2.5x. All the other colors have 2.75x and 3.0x available to them. Black-yellow glasses has 2.25x and 2.50x while black-brown glasses only has 2.50x available to them.

The available magnification grades are all positive. People with hyperopia (far-sightedness) may have a problem wearing these glasses. This range is also not applicable for people with high degrees of myopia (near-sightedness) nor astigmatism (large degree of difference between the eyes).

Nonetheless, the slight magnification helps in relaxing the ciliary muscle of the eye. It helps the eyes focus on objects for a long time.

ACCESSORIES

Each glasses comes with a black hard-zip case, grey soft pouch and a black cleaning cloth.

The hard-zip case protects the glasses from foreign objects that may stain or contaminate the eyewear and external forces that may cause damage.

The soft pouch also protects the glasses from such objects and factors but to a lesser extent. It allows easy carriage for the glasses. The cleaning cloth effectively wipes stain and other materials from the glasses’ surface without being abrasive.

Performance

The classical style of the glasses, paired with neutral colors and designs, are perfect for everyone no matter what their skin color, age group, gender, and face shape or size is. The style and colors is not so bizarre that it matches any outfit for any occasion.

The whole package being made of plastic makes it to be lightweight, slightly flexible or elastic, resistant to corrosion, hypoallergenic and non-toxic.

The arms have a Conformité Européene (CE) trademark meaning it has passed the standards of the Eupean Union (EU) for environment, safety, and health. The product is also approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Hence, it is guaranteed to be safe.

Moreover, a distinguished plastic odor is not present.

The spring hinges allow the glasses to fit the shape and size of the user’s head. It also absorbs the shock and impact from external factors preventing damage to the joints.

Visionkr Computer Glasses Review

The lenses have a slight amber tint making the color of the images a bit distorted. Anyhow, it makes an illusion that the images appear sharper due to a change in contrast.

It is also necessary since it acts as a blue light filter. These lenses could block more than 30% of blue light surpassing the required 30%. However, heavy users of radiation emitting devices, like laptops, desktops, cellular phones, tablets, television screens, and even fluorescent lamps, may still experience the bad effects of harmful blue light.

This includes eye fatigue, strain, redness, itchiness, dryness, irritation, headaches, dizziness, and even sleep disturbance.

These lenses also block other electromagnetic radiation, including UV rays. These rays are more harmful than blue light. UV rays are classified into UVA and UVB which could cause cataracts in the cornea and lenses, photokeratitis, macular degeneration, and eye cancer.

The anti-glare property of the lenses allows the user to see clearly through a bright setting. The anti-screen flicker property allows the light to pass through smoothly a different medium. Anti-reflective property prevents the formation of a metallic blue sheen on the surface of the lenses. However, this property is not so evident for these glasses.

The same goes for the anti-scratch as the eyewear has issues with some of the layers flaking off. The lenses are also coated with hydrophobic (water-resistant) and oleophobic (oil-resistant) layers. Thus, the lenses are anti-fog, as it keeps moisture away, and fingerprint-resistant, respectively.

Pricing

What I like about this eyewear is its budget friendly price. All of the glasses that come in whatever magnification or color goes for the same price.

It also comes with a 100% money-back guarantee, two-year warrantee, and a lifetime after-sale service.

Helpful Tips

It is necessary to take care of your glasses in order to keep it on a longer life span. So here are some helpful tips that you can take advantage of.

  • Always keep the glasses inside the protective case. This will prevent any unwanted damages from sudden fall. Dust and other substances can also be minimized.
  • Don’t use rough material when cleaning the lenses. Only use the provided fiber cloth.
  • The tinting on the lenses may be unusual at first, so give it some time for you to get used to it.

Bottom Line

Visionkr by Eyekepper is not bad for its price. It has many features and certifications from known organizations to boast. It may jot be of premium quality but it serves its purpose well.

However, the blue light blocking capacity of this eyewear is only applicable for light to moderate users of radiation-emitting devices.

Pros

  • Budget friendly price
  • Lightweight
  • Includes case and cleaning cloth
  • Anti scratch property

Cons

  • Tinting on the lenses may be unusual
  • Cleaning the lenses may take some time

  1. Thank you for your review , I am actually looking for a pair of anti blue rays glasses due to strained eyes on prolonged viewing laptop and my mobile devices. Your review is helpful on my decision making.

  2. You offer a lot of good information here. I have been using “readers” for some time now, and am particularly interested in the “anti-fingerprint” feature :-). Seriously, “anti-glare” caught my attention and interest. I noticed that magnification grade 2.0 isn’t listed, do you know if it is available? If so, I will give them serious consideration.
Thanks for the good info and best wishes,

    Joe

    1. I checked the product online and I see that 2.0 magnification is not yet available. I suggest that you give it some time because they may still restocking their eyewear.
